Make Money with Mobile Content

Mobile content is content that is used or viewed on mobile phones. With the increasing use of mobile phones today, it is logical that content will find its way on mobile phones too. If you have been thinking about making your content mobile, than this eCourse will help you to understand how you can successfully offer your mobile content online.

You now have the option to offer your ebooks, videos, audios, music, software, and many other things to potential customers for them to download to their mobile phones.

In order to be successful in offering mobile content, make sure to offer quality products that are new and exciting, so that your potential customers are motivated to purchase your products.

Here are some ways to make sure that your mobile content gets attention:

1. Make your content useful. Try to think of ideas that you would find helpful to have on your own mobile device. If you find that you enjoy reading on your mobile phone, one option is to make ebooks available as mobile content.

If you enjoy playing video games, you may want to develop some entertaining games that people will want to have on their phones.

2. Make sure that your content is unique. There are already many people offering ring tones, so you may want to come up with something that is different and will gain people’s interest. Put together content, images, video, newsletters or other things that they cannot find anywhere else.

3. Offer entertaining videos. If you are creative at producing funny or entertaining videos, put together a few free ones, post them on video sites, and let people know that they can get more videos to download to their mobile phones.

4. Make sure that you watch for the screen width. This is because mobile devices have very small screens. This is to make sure that your mobile content still works on very small screens.

5. Be careful about bandwidth. Since most mobile devices access the web at dial-up speeds, it is important to pay attention to your file sizes so that your customers will not be waiting for 20 minutes for an image or file to download. As much as possible, keep your files small but functional.

Make sure to compact your source code as much as possible. When you are writing your HTML code make sure that you keep everything tightly wrapped together in order to reduce the source code size.

The more interesting and fun you make your mobile content, the more likely you are to get a good following of customers. Just remember to always try to think outside the box and make all of your content unique, exciting and fun so that people will keep coming back for more.

Why Put Up a Membership Site

Let’s face it. Affiliate marketing is nice. It can give you an income without the hassle of creating your own product, generating a sales process, taking in orders, etc. The basic challenge is to find which product to promote, and you share a piece of the sale.

It would even be better if you come up with your own product since you keep all of the sale. However, you are only selling one product at a time. After that one sale, you need to attract more customers in order to have more income, which is not recurring.

Now let’s take a look at membership sites.

Membership sites are probably the most lucrative form of online businesses out there due to:

  • Recurring income – once someone signs up, there is a greater chance that that customer will stay with you. Sure, there will be unsubscriptions, but make sure that you offer quality content in your membership in order to keep your customers as paying members
  • Relationships – once they sign in as your members, this is your chance to build lasting relationships with your subscribers. Once trust is built, it will be easier to promote other offers aside from your membership site

This post about membership sites is just the tip of the iceberg. I’m sure there are a lot more people who know more about it than I do, and that’s why I’m still in the process of learning the ropes. I would like to share with you this free report on membership sites by Yaro Starak. Believe me  it’s good. (click the link below)

Membership Site Mastermind

This might come in handy too. It is a free membership software you can use in case you’re planning to create your own membership site.

Memberfire

Note: Both of these are free, but if ever you do pay for one of those, then I’ll earn a commission (which is nice, hehe…). But I sincerely hope that you get value from both, and you can do this even without paying. Enjoy!

An Inspiring Speech On Entrepreneurship

John Gokongwei is an entrepreneur who owns one of the top corporations in the Philippines. His is an inspiring story. Here are some excerpts:

…”I was no more than a student then, at San Carlos University in Cebu, when my father died suddenly. It left me, the eldest, the responsibility of taking care of my mother and five siblings. That was tough for someone who was 13. Creditors had just seized our home and business and I had no experience with earning a living.”

…”My day began at 5 in the morning. I would load my bicycle with soap, thread, and candles, and then bike to neighboring towns to sell my goods. On market days, I would rent a stall, lay out the goods from the bike, and make about 20 pesos a day, enough for me to survive and to buy even more goods for next time.”

…”But I chose to live my life unafraid even during times when I WAS afraid. I discovered that opportunities don’t find you. You find your opportunities.

…”Call it trite – but, believe me, success CAN BE ACHIEVED through hard work, frugality, integrity, responsiveness to change – and most of all boldness to dream. These have never been just easy slogans for me. I have lived by them. I hope that many of you in this room will some day choose to be entrepreneurs. Choose to be an entrepreneur because then YOU create value.”

Inspiring isn’t it? You can read the rest of his speech here.
